Abstract

A wireless device including a buffer configured to buffer a received signal over a plurality of time slots of a retransmission frame window, a detector configured to identify a target slot of the plurality of time slots, identify an applicable candidate retransmission pattern based on the target slot, and identify one or more buffered time slots stored in the buffer based on the applicable candidate retransmission pattern, a combiner configured to combine the target slot with the one or more buffered time slots to obtain a combined transmission, and a decoder configured to decode the combined transmission to obtain payload data.
